40 Litre Hydropress Fruit Press.

This 40 Litre Hydropress provides a simple, highly effective method of extracting juice from apples, pears, berries or grapes for juice, wine or cider making. It can also be used as a cheese press or for honeycomb.

This Hydropress will regulate your Mains Water prior to it entering your hydropress with our inexpensive inline regulator. As mains water here in Australia can exceed 100-115psi!

If you already own a hydropress and currently not regulating your water. You really should! Australian water pressure is higher than a lot of other countries.
In some places up to 115psi! A Hydropress can't expel that fast flow and higher pressure water at the full ball so you should acquire an 8mm duotight - Inline Regulator with integrated gauge (white) 0-60psi . This will reduce the in risk of your hydropress failing or cause serious injury.

Electricity-Free:
Hydraulic juicer uses water to produce pressure for natural juice making, winemaking and cheese making. It’s energy-saving and space-saving. If pressure exceeded, it will be released automatically, safe and easy to operate.

Also called a Bladder Press, they work by expanding a rubber bladder using household water pressure via a garden hose.
Since the bladder is situated in the centre of the press, the grapes/fruit are squeezed from the inside out in a uniform fashion even if the basket is only partially filled.
This is a much more effective way of pressing fruit pulp as it allows a wider surface area for the juice to be extracted.
Comparing to traditional hydraulic top down presses, large amounts of streaming and blockages would be trapped within the bulk matter.
The hydropress is also used on a mammoth scale in wineries as it is by far the most effective means of extraction without electrical power.

When pressing normal mains water pressure of 2.5 to 3 bar it will generate around 20 tonnes of pressing power. The pressure applied and the duration of pressing can be regulated simply by opening or closing the water tap.
