- Alpha Amylase from Pure Distilling is used for liquefaction of starches during the mash prior to fermentation and distillation of craft distilled spirits.
- Add this Japanese strain of Alpha Amylase into your mash when the temperature reaches 50° Celsius and it will convert with in one minute.
- Usage: Add to the mash with the grains.
- Dosage: Use Sachet with up to 10 kg of grain.
- pH Stability: 4.0 - 9.0 optimum 4.0 - 5.0.
- Optimum Temperature: 50° Celsius.
