Hurricane
The Hurricane cocktail is a sweet alcoholic drink made with rum, lemon juice, and either passion fruit syrup or passion fruit. It is one of many popular drinks served in New Orleans. It is traditionally served in the tall, curvy hurricane glass.
Ingredients:
- 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Jamaican Gold Rum
- 50 ml passionfruit juice*
- 20 ml lime juice
- Cherry and orange wheel for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Pour rum, passion fruit juice, and lime juice into a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well mixed and chilled.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a cherry and an orange wheel.
- Enjoy!
*You can use any tropical fruit juice blend, or a mix of orange and pineapple juice as substitutes.
Remember, always use good-quality ice; it makes a difference to the final drink.
